The Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (AUWSA) has inaugurated a mobile phone services in payment of monthly water supply and sewerage bills.
The Authority is executing a plan to revolutionize payment service through all electronic means and particularly mobile phone services.
To start with, the Authority has already inaugurated payment of bills through Vodacom MPESA recently which has already attracted a large volume of customers doing their payments through the service.
The service will enable AUWSA customers pay their bills anywhere serving their time and costs incurred in queuing at AUWSA pay point.
The service can be utilized through the instructions in Mpesa MENU as obtained in customer mobile phone.
The Authority encourages her customers to full utilize the service to effectively serve their time resource.
Customers also can receive their Authority’s monthly bills by Mobile phone SMS which will keep them informed on their outstanding and remind them to pay promptly to avoid service disconnection.
